Rules and Requirements
- No profanity or slander. Be respectful to other fisherman and employees. All problems should be reported to an employee in the bait house.
- No drunkenness.
- Cast nets are not allowed. Nor traps!
- Everyone must have a valid ticket to fish.
- If your time has expired, you must pay again or quit fishing.
- You must purchase tickets when you first sign in.
- You should cast straight out in front of you.
- Poles should be no more than 6 feet apart.
- No throwing to the other side of the lake. You should only throw half way.
- Fish should not be carried in a dip net. Fish not in a net are ineligible for tags and jackpots. NO exceptions.
- If you are fishing on the ends, do not throw past the first shed.
- Do not cut bait on the benches. Use the cutting boards on the side of the sheds.
- All shovel heads and blue cats (over 7 lbs) are property of Sky Lake.
- The big lake is catch and release only. Stringers and baskets are to only be used while fishing in the little lake.
- There is a 2 pole limit. Other poles must be left in your vehicle.
- No bottom trolling. You may fish on the bottom, but you may not drag your bait across it.
- You can troll on top. If using a bobber, it must be off the bottom.
- Leave any treble hook, steel leaders or artificial bait that uses one in your car. If you are caught with one, you will be asked to leave.
- No snagging fish.
- Foul hooked fish will not count period!
- Tickets must be purchased before claiming a spot.
- Pets are allowed on the premises.
- Firearms are not allowed other than staff.
- Do not harm the ducks or other wildlife on our property.
If you are caught breaking these rules, you may be asked to leave. Refunds will not be given. Depending on the offense, you may not be allowed back. If caught violating any of these rules, you will be disqualified from tags, slots, and jackpots.
We want everyone to enjoy their time at Sky Lake. We pride ourselves in being a family friendly environment where everyone can fish and relax. Please report any problems to an employee on duty.
